We do not enter every cider into every competition every year as not every cider is available, it could be sold out, more needs to be bottled or it was just not made that year. Choosing which ones to enter means they need to be tried, a very pleasurable job!
Unfortunately, there were no shows in 2020 or 2021 due to Covid.

Apple Juice
We are told that our apple juice is the best available locally but had not entered it into competitions to support the feedback we continually get. So,in 2013 both juices were entered in Taste of the West, and both won Gold. One actually got to the last four in its class, the only apple juice to get that far. For a humble apple juice to be a finalist was quite satisfying, however, we lost out to a fine ginger beer. Will we enter again? Maybe…..
Please note that we do not collect apples from multiple different places creating significantly different quality batches from which we then pick the best for competitions. Our juices are as consistent as we can be each year so that you can be sure the bottle you have deserves its prize label.
